The Business Booster (TBB), Europe’s catalyst for clean energy innovation, is back for the fifth year running and will take place in RAI Amsterdam on 25-26 October 2017. Hosted by InnoEnergy, the European innovation engine for sustainable energy, TBB is the only event that brings all the necessary stakeholders together to create the future of sustainable energy, today.
Unique among European energy events, TBB brings together more than 160 innovative startups and SMEs, alongside established companies looking to source innovative products, a wealth of investors, and, crucially, senior public-sector officials – with this year’s event laser-focused on accelerating the clean energy transition.
“The clean energy revolution is happening in Europe, but not fast enough. To meet our ambitious goals and help halt climate change, we need to move faster – we need to fast-track clean energy innovation. TBB is the event that makes that happen,” says Diego Pavia, CEO at InnoEnergy. “The event is a place where transactions and partnerships happen so that clean energy innovations get off the ground to make a material difference as rapidly as possible.”
TBB attendees can access all conferences and sessions as well as the main exhibition and benefit from extensive networking opportunities. At the 2016 edition in Barcelona, 690 participants and 149 exhibitors from 32 countries engaged in 720 minutes of networking and 420 minutes of pitching. This year, for the first time, the event will include a demonstration area where the attendees will be able to see the innovations “live”.
Elena Bou, Innovation Director at InnoEnergy, continues: “There’s no point in accelerating through the startup stage then cutting support. So we continue supporting our partners’ innovations throughout their life cycle and most crucially helping them on their way to commercialization. It’s through this ongoing backing of successful pitches – with business advice and mentorship in addition to investment – that TBB proves the true catalyst for change in Europe’s sustainable energy industry.”
