The venue of Bratislava’s 0100 Campus is going to be full of entrepreneurial ideas and skilled enthusiasts. Upcoming Startup Weekend Bratislava is taking place on December 9th-11th, 2016.
The annual competition of ideas-turned-products-in-a-weekend is held all over the world and Bratislava can’t miss it. This year’s edition is already the 7th in a row. During a 54-hours marathon, you can turn your idea into a functioning project and work on it even after the event. The process is simple. Friday night you pitch your idea in front of an audience. Afterwards, the attendees will make up teams and work on the best ideas for the whole weekend. They try to make as much as possible to transform it into a relevant product or service. Mentors from different fields are on the spot to support, criticize and give advice.
Sunday night is the final pitch event where the teams will present their projects to an expert jury. The main three criteria are as follows: the idea, its efficiency and the potential of development in the future. Based on them, the jury will pick the three best teams.
